The young prince Mahidol arrives in New England after a long train ride. He removes his hat before adjusting to the new city he has found himself in and starts his journey to Harvard University to study medicine.

The sunsets as Mahidol approaches his dorm room building only to be greeted by an enthusiastic student by the name of Roy Campbell. Upon his invitation, he enters the building to join the evidently last-minute "housewarming party".
